     | PROFITI ILIAS 4 km from Karlovassi. It was built in 1625 by the monk Iacomos. There are many wall paintings of Byzantine Art. On the 20th of July when it is its day of celebration, a great festival takes place. |  | 
  
     | AGIA ZONI It was built in 1695 by the monk Meletios. It is located at Vlamari, just 3 km from the city of Samos. There are beautiful wall paintings and the temple has the shape of a basilica with a dome. |  |
